Country Activities

Each of the five transit countries (Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey) will be conducting an individual Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the pipeline corridor within their national boundaries.
This individual country approach is necessary in order to acquire the relevant consents and permits from each national legislature. Once this is achieved, NIC will consolidate these into one overall ESIA for the project.
